Personality: Humans are known best for their versatility and ambition, which is either envy by others, or seen as a flawed trait.  Besides those to qualities, its hard for others to pinpoint a Humans perspective on life besides the will to succeed and the thirst for individual freedom.

Physical Description: Humes vary in shape, hair color, and eye color, though they do tend to stay in the height range of 5 to 6 feet, being one of the tallest of the Shemdelver races.
Other Races: Most other races get along well with the Humes, finding them adaptable and willing to work under many circumstances. Most other races can find a few flaws they dislike about humans, but for the most part take them as a good people.  .

Alignment: Humans are usually of any alignment.

Homeland: The Peoples Republic is the humans homeland, ruled by a family and an elected House of Senates, each senator comes from a district of the Peoples Republic. Some hail from other provinces, countries, or nations of Shemdelver such as: Eastern Balor Empire, San’Susia, or the Holy Confederate Empire. Few Humes live elsewhere.

Racial Traits:

  • Humans gain a +2 on one ability score of their choice, and a -2 on another of their choice. Humes are very versatile and demonstrate a wide range of physical and mental strengths and weaknesses.
  • Medium: As Medium creatures, Humes have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Humes base land speed is 30 feet.
  • 2 extra feats at first level. Humes are unrivaled in their ability to learn specialized tasks, and they feature many different talents.
  • 8 extra skill points at 1st level and 2 extra skill points at each additional level. Humes are adaptive and uniquely competent in their chosen fields.
  • Humes have fought for their freedom by overthrowing the Old Balor Empire, and thus are skilled in weaponry. Humes may choose an exotic weapon that is not a racial specific exotic weapon and treat it as a martial weapon rather than an exotic one.
